Do you

There are many things that make people happy. One thing doesn't make everyone happy. There are no right recipes for a happy life. In the book, Tuesdays with Morrie, Morrie talks about how in order to live life you must learn how to die. We appreciate every little thing once we know our time is up. We have this issue that we want to believe that we're going to keep on living forever. We must not fear death but come to a conclusion that it is a part of nature. One life, One Chance. Forgive others and forgive yourself. Don't regret anything in life and just keep on moving forward.

Everyone thinks advertisement is bad. That it brainwashes you and fills your mind with a bunch of lies. Which is so not true. The majority of ads are almost 100% percent true or else their products wouldn't sell. Its what Charles A. O’Niell calls “The language of advertising” which uses a bunch of strategies like words, images, and sounds to create this piece of art. If this didn't work while else would they spend 150 billion + every year if it didn't work?

Climax

The restless land stands in front of me
The empty sky is silent
While the birds fell silent
Looking straight ahead at the endless upside down ocean
Looks like you reached the end of the road.
With every step you took was like walking over hot coals.
Burning with fire but with fire their is always light.
You are on top of the world.

5 Looks at the giver

In Lois Lowry's novel, The Giver, I chose these groups of words that gave
a better understanding of the book.
  1. Individualism- People in Jonas's society ignore peoples differences and are treated all the same. When Jonas begins to question the values of his community he begins to think for himself. About why people follow this or do that. He analyses that the community is dependent of itself and their is truly no differences.
  2. Pain- When becoming a twelve one of the elders tells Jonas that this community has never seen pain. And that he will be face with pain of the magnitude that none of us here can comprehend. The community has never enjoyed life because they haven't felt pain or any kind of emotion. They are blocked from every aspect from it. Death isn't tragic to them because they haven't experience it. Instead they are released and its seen as an honor. When Jonas receives memories discovers pain in them but also open him to other emotions like love and etc.
  3. Memory- Memory has a lot to do with pain. People have no idea of the past and without past you have no memory of what pain is. They have no experience of pain, love, or sexual pleasure. This is controlled by the elders with a simple pill to reject sexual pleasure. Causing them to be neutral plus living in peace and harmony.

Are you in good hands?

Have you thought of the idea that you shared way to much about your personal life on social networks? I know I do! But I just say I'm on private no one really cares about what I'm posting or sharing. But how much privacy do you really have? Did you know that companies can know almost everything about you in a few hours without breaking the law! That says a lot about our so called "privacy". Does that bother you to know this? People care about their own privacy more than others. You don't want people looking at your real estate records but you would want to know if your babysitter has a criminal record, right? Let me ask you something is privacy that important to us? Or is being more open better?
